It is found that books of same category are characterized as certain tropism in general during reading book in Shenzhen Library. For example, science and technology books are totally blue, and geography and tourism category is commonly colorful and bright, while American literature and Japanese literature have extremely different colors, and Chinese politics is red as a whole. I am very curious about the certain association among them and wonder if the overall color of a library may reflect the collection types of the library, and their proportion can show the proportion of collection types of a library, and consequently present the interests and hobbies of this library. For instance, I will know whether Shenzhen Library in special economic zones is equipped with more economic books than that of libraries in other areas or not, and know whether library in art academy shows another colorful composition or not.

Every library has its unique color composition system, which is closely related to the quantity of collections, category proportion and integrity. To some extent, this color visualization can also reflect the feature of a library, and is an objective and direct assessment. Besides, it is able to speculate the common concerns and hobbies of urban residents according to the importance degree of library in city and some significant features of the city, such as urban development planning at present and in future, with economic development, red old revolutionary base areas or historic city as the core. Of course, all of these are just conjectures, and eventually it is still required to present the connotation by actual data.
